LINDY HOP

Lindy Hop is an African-American dance based on the Charleston. It is danced to the classic Jazz and Big Band music of the 1930's and 40's. Lindy Hop's active and energetic feel can be attributed to its combination of African-American dance movements and improvisation with Europe's formal eight-count dance structure.

Lindy Class Schedule:
Teachers: Laura & Simon
Beginner: Thursdays 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Intermediate: Thursdays 8:00pm to 9:00pm

Location: NEST Performance Theatre, except October 5 & 19. October 5 & 19, classes will be in SWNG 405.

First Class: September 21
